Let’s Ciao's owner, Chef & Sommelier Roberto, was educated in the culinary sciences in both Switzerland and Italy. After moving to Arizona in 2005, Roberto completed the sommelier certificate and diploma through the International Sommelier Guild.
Although Italian and Slovenian by origin, Chef Roberto was born and raised on the French side of Switzerland near Neuchatel. He also studied in Germany and lived in the Swiss-German part of Switzerland for nearly 10 years. He enjoyed the rich culinary environment of Europe from an early age.
Chef Roberto speaks French, Italian, German, English and Spanish.
